Abandinus

British Deity

Obscure deity, local to Godmanchester in Cambridgeshire. Unfortunately, we do not know any of his characteristics, as not even interpretatio romana was employed. I have seen a few theories that Abandinus was originally Mabandinus, and his name related to Maponos, but I don't see why this should be.
